Amrit Pal Singh is a passionate and result-oriented Product Developer with over 16 years of software engineering experience across multiple technologies. He is a programmer, hacker, computer science engineer, and product developer. Amrit is known for his ability to solve complex conceptual problems and implement solutions proactively. He has built and managed various web services and microservices from scratch and has experience in converting the specs into scalable products. Currently, Amrit is the Director, Cloud Software at Caavo, where he leads the cloud software team. He joined Caavo in 2015 and built a competent team that does everything and anything under the umbrella of Cloud Computing. He has built scalable and reliable platforms for many consumer-facing applications and for new ways to interact on TV. Prior to Caavo, Amrit was leading the cloud team at Althea Systems, where he developed an online video discovery platform, Shufflr. During this journey, they scaled their platform to cater to 5 million users to discover the videos they would like to watch. Amrit spent the last 16-17 years working in almost all domains of Software Development. Starting with Circuit simulation software, media middleware, firmware, desktop application, and cloud software across large corporations and startups. He is an expert in Product Development, Systems software & firmware, web-scale cloud computing system architectures, and machine learning and AI. Amrit has a Master's degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Technology from Motivational Pathway. He completed his 10 + 2 from Lions School. Amrit is also an active writer and publishes stories on Medium. He writes about technology, software programming, travel, entrepreneurship, and productivity. Amrit's tech stack includes Web, Software Engineer, AI, ML, Microservices, Backend, AWS, and Senior Software Engineer. He has over 15 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering.
